Poetry Month: Vienna (Dotts)

“Come to Vienna,” she said,
“And we can steal horses together.
Carnivale is near, and I would love to see
The candle light hushed by your eyes.
Walk with me on cobblestones
That sing with a voice from an unmarked grave.
Buy a one-way ticket
And we can live on love without wings.
Come to Vienna.”
