About Me

I never know what to say in these things. I like long walks on the beach, puppy dogs and Gordon Lightfoot songs? Yeah, right. Although I do like the beach and dogs and who doesn’t love “The Wreck of the Edmund Fitzgerald.”

I’m a writer and editor by trade and avocation. I started the blog for reasons long forgotten, but continue it as a way to keep myself writing beyond what the day job requires.

Anyway, if you like what you see on the site and want more of my blatherings, click on the subscribe box to your right. You’ll get an email when a new post goes live. If you get tired of the emails or of me, each new post announcement contains unsubscribe instructions.

I occasionally post book reviews. Please note reviews with a title of “Review: [book title]” are written after reading a complimentary advance review copy provided by the publisher. The publisher does not see the review before it’s posted, nor does a publisher determine the content of the review.

Everything else on here is exactly what the tag line says: observations, musings and outright lies. I’ll leave it to you determine whether the outright lie is that the blog posts contain lies or whether the tag line itself is a lie.
